There is also an option called “Sound Enhancer” that determines how the song is affected by the timing of your inputs, but some songs do not have this setting, in which case you will always hear the normal version of the song. You can adjust the speed at which the notes approach you, how early/late the notes show up, and how early/late your inputs are read. You can press triangle on the song selection screen and select “Controller Setting” to map different buttons. Whichever song you pick, you may want to take this opportunity to tweak the settings to your liking. Alternatively, you can play easy songs such as Ba-Miao-Zhi-Yu, That Little Starry Sky, and ICEY, which will add some time to this step, but will also give you a good chance to try for 122% Sync rate for Audio Player. I suggest playing Flurry of Sakura for this because, as far as I’m aware, it’s the shortest song in the game (1:32) and easy enough that you will likely earn EX ranks for progress toward Performer. This step does not need to be done first, but doing so will help you get used to the game and possibly save a small amount of time in the long run. Step 1: Play a song 15 times and adjust options MUSYNX is a great game for trophy hunters who want to play a fun little rhythm game without needing to master it or spend an overwhelming amount of time on it. Even the few trophies that do require some degree of skill can be achieved with the easiest songs in the game. Playing through every song on all four difficulty/mode combinations is required, and simply by doing that, most trophies will probably come naturally. In terms of trophies, MUSYNX is mostly just grinding with few trophies requiring actual skill. The gameplay in MUSYNX is fairly standard for a rhythm game, allowing the player to choose between playing with four or six buttons (4K and 6K modes). MUSYNX also features music from other games, classical music, original tunes, and much more. Several songs in MUSYNX feature Stardust and/or individual artists from Quadimension. The main mascot is a Chinese Vocaloid called Xingchen, or Stardust in English, who was created by musical production group Quadimension. PM Studios’ MUSYNX, also known as MUSYNC in Asia, was initially a mobile game before being ported to console. There are a couple brief notes under the guides for Performer and Played Everything! about bugs I experienced with those two trophies specifically, the latter popping earlier than expected. One of the worst offenders is Aiming! Shooting!, which will likely pop well after 5000 Exacts, but still before the 18000 Exacts needed for Base Kick!. This is the case with MUSYNX, but as far as I’m aware, any such bugs are minor and will not result in any hear-pullingly frustrating trophies refusing to pop or anything of the sort. Unfortunately, with trophies being one of the less important parts of game development, they are often affected. Note about slightly bugged trophies: Indie games, due to their low budget, tend to have more bugs and other issues than big budget games. For anybody playing a version of the game with the update songs, this will only potentially affect three trophies: MUSYNC, Heart-Sync, and Played Everything! See Heart-Sync and Played Everything! for more info on how they may be affected. Note about extra songs: MUSYNX has been updated with free songs in the past and will likely be again in the future. I suggest you back up your save data regularly in case this happens, ideally alternating between PS+ and Content Manager (or multiple Content Manager files) to have extra security in case a backup is wiped. Additionally, there have been cases of data loss in the Vita version unrelated to any updates. Until then, do not update from version 1.00. PM Studios is aware of the issue and a fix is in the works. Warning about data loss: With the recently released PS4 version 1.03, many users have reported data loss upon updating. Do trophies stack?: Yes there are separate lists for six versions: Hong Kong Vita and PS4 (as MUSYNC), China Vita (as MUSYNC) and PS4 (as ?), and North America Vita and PS4 (as MUSYNX).Does difficulty affect trophies?: Yes all songs must be played on both difficulties and both modes.Glitched trophies: Some trophies may pop slightly early or late - see the second note in the introduction.Minimum number of playthroughs: 4 per song.Approximate amount of time to platinum: 15-20 hours ( Estimated Time to Platinum).Estimated trophy difficulty: 3/10 (Personal Estimate) ( Trophy Difficulty Rating).
